LEVS is an architectural firm improving the quality of life in cities in the Netherlands and abroad. Solving apparent contradiction challenges, such as urban densification and the need for more sustainability and social housing. With a new generation of partners on board, LEVS wanted to renew its brand strategy, visual identity and communication. Allowing them to meet the challenges of the future with the inspiration and vision of a younger generation, without losing 30 years of heritage.

As a visionary conductor, LEVS stages the whole architectural process from start to finish. By connecting the right designers, engineers, craftsmen and materials they create innovative and sustainable solutions for complex challenges. To visualise and give access to their way of working, they create all their construction models in BIM.
Complex solutions made visible
This application can generate a building blueprint almost directly, allowing the user to observe every solution in an instant. Making the invisible visible, we took the bright colours and mathematical precision from this way of working – creating animated patterns that would slowly reveal the LEVS logo.

While developing these further, it turned into a typeface. To make every brand asset recognisable, type patterns were implemented across different media static as well as motion.
